Exodus Terms of Service

These terms apply to Exodus website pages, product information, download entry points, support resources, wallet-related content, third-party links, and related digital services.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing, browsing, downloading, installing, or using Exodus websites, wallet-related pages, support content, or linked digital services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, do not access or use the relevant pages, content, software, or services.

These terms may apply together with additional notices, product instructions, third-party terms, privacy notices, and platform rules. If a specific service, download, or third-party integration includes additional conditions, those conditions may also apply to your use of that feature.

2. Services and content scope

Exodus may provide wallet product information, download links, desktop and mobile wallet pages, Web3 wallet information, hardware wallet references, supported asset information, help center content, educational materials, support entry points, newsletters, and related online resources.

Exodus content is provided for product information, general education, and usage reference only. It is not investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, financial planning, asset management, brokerage service, exchange service, or a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, stake, swap, or transfer any digital asset.

Product availability, asset support, network support, feature names, third-party links, wallet compatibility, fees, and user interface details may change over time. You should review the current product interface, app store listing, help documentation, and relevant third-party terms before relying on any feature.

3. Self-custody wallet boundary

Exodus wallet products are associated with self-custody use. In a self-custody wallet, you are responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase, private keys, passwords, devices, approvals, and transaction decisions. Exodus does not take custody of your assets through a recovery phrase controlled by you.

Exodus cannot recover a lost recovery phrase, reverse a blockchain transaction, access a wallet you control, guarantee third-party service availability, or restore assets lost because of user error, compromised devices, incorrect addresses, mistaken networks, malicious links, phishing, or unsupported tokens.

You should never share your recovery phrase, private keys, wallet backup, passcode, device credentials, or signing approvals with anyone. Anyone with access to those credentials may be able to control the wallet or related assets.

4. User responsibilities

You are responsible for using Exodus-related pages, downloads, and wallet products lawfully and carefully. This includes securing your device, keeping software updated, verifying download sources, reviewing wallet prompts, confirming recipient addresses, checking networks, understanding fees, and confirming transaction details before submitting any action.

You are responsible for evaluating whether any wallet feature, digital asset, network, DApp, staking service, swap service, buy/sell provider, bridge, browser extension, hardware wallet setup, or third-party link is appropriate for your location, device, risk tolerance, and intended use.

You agree not to misuse the website or services, interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, impersonate others, violate intellectual property rights, bypass security measures, or use Exodus-related materials for unlawful activity.

5. Blockchain transactions and fees

Blockchain transactions may be irreversible once submitted to a network. You must verify the asset, network, address, memo or tag, amount, fee, and approval scope before sending, swapping, bridging, buying, selling, staking, unstaking, or signing any transaction.

Network fees, miner fees, gas fees, priority fees, exchange rates, slippage, confirmations, and transaction timing are controlled by blockchain networks or third-party providers, not by static website content. Fees and execution outcomes may change quickly during periods of network congestion or market volatility.

Exodus does not guarantee that a transaction will be confirmed at a specific time, at a specific cost, or with a specific market result. You are responsible for reviewing all transaction details inside the wallet interface and any third-party provider interface before approving.

6. Third-party services

Exodus pages may link to or reference third-party services, including app stores, browser extension stores, hardware wallet providers, swap providers, buy/sell providers, staking providers, analytics services, social platforms, video platforms, newsletters, support systems, or external websites.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms, fees, privacy policies, risk disclosures, eligibility rules, and operational practices. Exodus does not control every action, price, delay, outage, data practice, compliance rule, or result provided by third-party services.

Before using a third-party service, review its terms and confirm that it is appropriate for your jurisdiction, identity requirements, tax situation, asset type, network, and risk tolerance.

7. Risks and disclaimers

Digital assets involve significant risks. These risks may include price volatility, liquidity limitations, smart contract vulnerabilities, network congestion, delayed confirmations, failed transactions, unsupported assets, address errors, wallet compromise, phishing, malware, regulatory changes, tax consequences, and total loss of value.

Exodus websites, product pages, help content, wallet-related materials, and linked resources are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Exodus does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, specific investment outcomes, asset performance, network availability, third-party service availability, or recovery of lost assets.

Nothing on the website should be interpreted as a promise that a digital asset, network, staking reward, swap route, buy/sell service, DApp, hardware wallet configuration, or wallet feature will remain available, profitable, secure, or suitable for every user.

8. Intellectual property

Exodus names, logos, trademarks, product marks, interface references, page designs, text, graphics, icons, images, and related materials may be protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, misrepresent, or use Exodus branding in a way that creates confusion or implies authorization without permission.

External brand names, networks, assets, wallet names, and third-party marks referenced on the site belong to their respective owners. References to third-party names do not imply endorsement, control, sponsorship, or responsibility unless clearly stated.

9. Service changes and availability

Exodus may update, modify, suspend, remove, or replace website content, product descriptions, links, supported asset references, documentation, download entry points, and related materials at any time. Some features may depend on device compatibility, jurisdiction, third-party availability, network conditions, or product version.

Exodus does not guarantee that every page, feature, asset, network, download option, third-party link, or support article will remain available or unchanged. You should verify current information before taking actions involving digital assets.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Exodus and related parties are not responsible for losses arising from market movements, user decisions, lost recovery phrases, compromised devices, incorrect addresses, wrong networks, phishing, malware, third-party outages, unsupported assets, failed transactions, tax consequences, or reliance on outdated information.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions of liability. In those cases, limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Updates to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, operational practices, third-party changes, or risk disclosures. The updated date shown on this page indicates when the page was last revised.

Continued access to Exodus-related pages or services after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, stop using the relevant pages, downloads, software, or services.

12. Contact and support

If you have questions about these Terms of Service, wallet use, supported features, downloads, or product documentation, review the Help Center and related product pages. Support information may vary by topic, product version, device, and third-party provider.
